The partnership
This project is the story of our collaboration with the agency STAY STUDIO. They were the lead planner of the event, and we became their main local partner, taking on the delivery of the project on Georgian ground.

The celebration took place in Kazbegi — at 1,744 metres, at the foot of Mount Kazbek. Together we closed Rooms Kazbegi entirely for three days and turned the hotel into a residence for the couple and their guests.

Our shared aim was for the guests not simply to arrive at a wedding, but to live for a few days inside Georgia.
The making
The main challenge was the location and the weather: open ground, difficult terrain and unpredictable mountain conditions. This is where our local expertise was essential. We helped adapt the structures and the technical rig to the harsh realities of the mountains, prepared several fallback scenarios together with STAY STUDIO, and on our side even cleared the fireworks with the local seismologists.
But the main decision was the concept itself. Instead of a classic banquet — a festival. STAY STUDIO set the format, and we helped fill it with authentic meaning: a traditional Georgian ceremony, polyphonic singing, a supra, live cooking over fire, local wines, craft workshops and contemporary Georgian fashion.

Guests could make khinkali, watch the craftsmen at work, taste the wines, choose Georgian outfits and meet the culture not from the outside but from within. Even the road from Tbilisi to Kazbegi became part of a carefully thought-through script.
Our shared aim was for the guests not simply to arrive at a wedding, but to live for a few days inside Georgia. And that became the main result of working in tandem: the lead planner's vision and our local support meant the guests left feeling they had discovered Georgia anew.
