Who you are contracting with

SENTI Events is a trading name. What these terms are

These terms describe how we work, so that nothing in the process is a surprise. They apply to the site, to an enquiry and to the work itself.

Every event is arranged under a signed contract with its own estimate, payment schedule and cancellation scale. Where that contract and this page differ, the signed contract governs — and we point out any difference before you sign, not after.

How work begins

An enquiry through the site, WhatsApp or Telegram is not yet a booking. We start with a free consultation, establish the format, the guest count, the season and the budget range, and only then quote.

The date becomes yours when the contract is signed and the first payment is received. Until then we may be holding it for someone else, and we say so honestly rather than letting you assume otherwise.

The estimate and what it covers

The estimate lists every line separately: our fee, the venue, catering, décor and florals, photography and film, music, transport, and anything else you asked for. If a line is not in the estimate, it is not in the price.

Prices for venues, catering and contractors are their prices, not ours, and they move with the season and the exchange rate. We fix them in the estimate once the contractor confirms — before that they are indicative.

The guest count drives most of the budget. A change in the number of guests changes the estimate, and we recalculate it in writing rather than absorbing the difference silently.

Payments

Work is paid in stages tied to the contractors' own deadlines: venue and key suppliers are secured with prepayments long before the date, and those deadlines are what the schedule follows.

The exact split, the currency and the dates are set out in your contract. Prepayments passed on to a venue or a contractor are governed by that party's own cancellation terms, which we show you before you commit.

Contractors and venues

We select, contract and coordinate the suppliers, and we are answerable to you for how the day runs. Some agreements — usually the venue — are signed by you directly; we prepare them and explain what you are signing.

If a contractor fails, we replace them at an equivalent level at our own expense in terms of coordination. Where the failure is the contractor's, the money is recovered from that contractor under their agreement.

Changes, postponement and cancellation

Tell us as early as you can. The earlier a change comes, the more of the budget survives it — this is not a policy, it is simply how contractor deadlines work.

The cancellation scale and what is refundable at each stage are written into your contract. Sums already paid to a venue or a contractor follow that party's terms and are not always recoverable; we say which is which rather than promising a full refund we cannot deliver.

A postponement is not a cancellation: whenever contractors allow it, we move the booking to a new date instead of losing it.

Weather and circumstances beyond control

For any outdoor part of an event we agree a backup plan in advance and name the moment at which the decision is taken. Weather is not a force majeure — it is a scenario we plan for.

Genuine force majeure — a natural disaster, an epidemic, a closed border, an act of the authorities — suspends the obligations of both sides. In that case we return whatever has not yet been paid on to contractors and help move the date.

Photography, film and the portfolio

We would like to show the work: photographs and film from your event may appear in our portfolio, on social media and in press coverage.

You may refuse this — entirely or with conditions, such as no faces of guests or no publication before a certain date. Tell us before the event and we write it into the contract. A refusal costs nothing and changes no price.

The shooting rights sit with the photographers and videographers we commission. What you receive, and in what form, is set out in the estimate.

Marriage legalization

For foreign couples we handle the paperwork side of a legal marriage in Georgia. We prepare and submit the documents and accompany you at the ceremony.

The decision itself belongs to the Georgian authorities, not to us. We are responsible for the documents being correct and filed on time; we cannot promise a state body's decision or its timing.

Liability

We are responsible for the quality of our own work: the plan, the choice and coordination of contractors, the schedule and the running of the day.

We are not responsible for the behaviour of guests, damage they cause to a venue, decisions you take against our written advice, or acts of state bodies.

Our liability is limited to the amount of our own fee, save in cases of intent or gross negligence. Contractor liability lies with each contractor under their own agreement.

If we cannot resolve it between us, you keep every right you have under Georgian consumer law — nothing on this page limits that.

Law, jurisdiction and changes

These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, and disputes that cannot be settled amicably are heard by the courts of Georgia.

We may update this page. The version that applies to your event is the one in force on the day the contract was signed, and the date at the top tells you which that is.
